Starting June 11, BeReal is rolling out a series of new features so football fans can live and capture every emotion of the upcoming football championship in real time and share those moments with the people who matter most.

Few events cut across cultures, time zones, and generations the way the world cup does. It's one of the last moments where billions of people are truly in it together: the same goal, the same tension, the same explosion of joy, each experienced in their own way. BeReal was built exactly for that: to capture what it actually feels like to be a fan, unfiltered, with the people around you.

What's new? 

Real-time team notifications. Users can now select one or more national teams to follow. At key moments during a match (a goal, a penalty, the final whistle), BeReal users will receive a notification prompting them to capture the moment: their reaction, the people around them, where they're watching from. All in real time, in BeReal's signature front-and-back camera format.

Unlimited BeReals for the duration of the tournament. For the first time, BeReal is removing its daily posting limit for the entire duration of the world championship. Fans can post as many BeReals as they want: every goal, every tense moment, every eruption of joy, building a match-by-match collection of authentic memories.

A limited-edition logo. For the first time, BeReal is adopting a special temporary logo inspired by football for the duration of the tournament.
